This long winter is finally over and it’s time to stretch your legs. Whether you have a set routine or want to mix it up a little bit, Chicago is the perfect place to get your workout on! Here are some great ways to get fit and have fun at the same time!

Sunny Day

On a beautiful summer day, the LAST thing we want to do is go to a stuffy gym. Grab your mat and head to Millennium Park to work out with hundred of other Chicagoans at a free class! Enjoy Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates and Zumba on the Great Lawn; try something new or strengthen your practice in the great outdoors.

Rather work out solo?

Take advantage of over 18 miles of pavement that is the Lakefront Trail. During the warmer months, it seems like most of the city heads to the lakeshore every day to stroll, jog or bike along Lake Michigan. Hit the trail for a lunchtime walk or beat the crowds and get there early for a great morning workout!

OR maybe team sports are more your style?

Grab your friends and check out Chicago Sport & Social Club. Play volleyball, kickball, basketball, soccer, even table tennis and even WhirlyBall! You can make it as competitive as you want; there are leagues for every skill level, whether you just want to have a good time or relive high school glory days.

There are plenty of gloomy days that get in the way of outdoor plans, it is Chicago after all. But it’s no excuse to hide out in your apartment! There’s no better time to try out a new workout, what do you have to lose?

The newest addition to the building is 9Round, the perfect place to work out if you have a goal in mind but maybe need some support to reach it. 9Round is a full-body workout that's fast, effective and fun! You’ll have access to personal trainers for help and even nutritional guidance.

Feeling a Little Bit Lazy


The city has so much to offer but sometimes leaving home is too much to handle. Lucky for us, we have an awesome fitness center right on the amenity floor. You can even get a workout in on our huge deck! On those days where you can’t seem to get off the couch, pull on your sneakers and get to the 5th floor. Run a few miles and your couch and snacks are right where you left them at home.
